Touch the Source: Journey Into Life

Begin to explore how your Conception, Womb Life and Birth Experiences are Affecting you Today! Three part series.

Much of our current beliefs, and the way we create our world, originates in this early time of our life. Becoming aware of these influences allows us to better understand ourselves, our patterns of behavior, and how we relate to others, including our children.

This short three part series offers you the opportunity to begin exploring your Journey Into Life. This series is not a deep process group, it is an opportunity to begin exploring your origins. For deeper work go to 'One on One' or 'Womb Process Workshops'.

Would be of interest to:

  • Pre-pregnant and pregnant couples
  • Counselors, therapists, healers, etc who would like more awareness of this crucial developmental period
  • Birthing professionals such as doula’s, midwives, and childbirth educators
  • Parents who want to understand the origins of their own behavior, in order to become better parents, and who also want to gain some insight into their children's journey in to life
  • Seekers who desire to know more about how their early Soul, cellular and limbic imprints are present in their life now

Explore your epic Journey Into Life as a spirit who came here to be in a body. That adventure is different for each one of us, and shapes the way we feel in and about our bodies. These very powerful early experiences usually remain outside of our consciousness, and can be running our lives.

It is our Limbic brain that imprints these early experiences into our body, and leaves us with somatic memories that we enact in our life continually. Prior to limbic imprinting we also had cellular consciousness, and even earlier than that, soul consciousness. We can also remember our cellular and soul memories, and they also reside in our physical, and our energetic/emotional body.

SPECIAL OFFER for people who have completed this series: $80 discount on three individual or couple's sessions.

Part 1: Conception

Conception is our first experience of embodiment. It is also the point at which we receive our first impressions of sexuality and relationship. What kind of relationship our parents had, and the way we were conceived has an impact upon us.

Was it loving and passionate? Were our parents conscious? Were they present? Were there alcohol or drugs used,or negative or invasive energy?

How is our conception present in our life and relationships now? How do we come to beginnings? How do we come into our body? How has it imprinted our sexuality, and our beliefs about relationship and intimacy?

There will be a brief talk, and an experiential exercise to help with the exploration of your conception followed by some group sharing, and questions and answers.

Part 2: Prenates have their Own Experience

Were you alone in the womb? Was it an inviting womb in which you were wanted and prepared for? How is the prenatal environment you marinated in, and the events at that time, present in your life now? The early imprints laid down in the womb can go on affecting our lives profoundly.

Some of the aspects of our life that are touched by this period of development include our birth, bonding, relationships, health, spirituality, attachment patterns, and how we birth and parent our kids.

There will be a brief talk, and an experiential exercise to help with the exploration of your time in the womb followed by some group sharing, and questions and answers.

Part 3: Birth Sequencing in Your Daily Life

Is it true that a cesarean birth is easier? What effect can a ‘good’ birth have upon our sense of ourselves, and on our ability to competently move through projects from beginning to end? Did you know that the relationship that twins have in the womb, continues outside the womb?

I will have given you a simple writing/awareness exercise in Part 1 that you can explore over the next couple of weeks, which will show you very clearly what your birth sequence is and how it is present in your life every day! We will share our explorations of this sequencing, and you will also have a chance to share any information and 'family stories' that you have been able to discover from family members, your parents, etc about your birth.

General information: In the first meeting I will ask you to make some inquiries in your family about what was going on when you were in the womb, to gather the birth stories, and to get really curious about that early time of your life. I will also give you information for a writing exercise that I ask you do do over the series, the results of which will be shared in the group on Part 3 because it will give you information about your birth.

Is your life being run by your prenatal and birth imprints?

Please register beforehand, as early as possible, to avoid disappointment.

Cost: $25 - $5 (sliding scale) per meeting, in Sebastopol, 7.15pm - 9.15pm

Series Dates: Monday's September 8th, 15th and 22nd, 2008
